I was excited to get the cd, and really enjoyed listening to it. All of the songs are good, but my favorites are Sweet Adeline and the gorgeous, haunting Full Moon. This is one cd that will be on repeat. I'm so pleased that Avi is finding his niche and mastering it. Just wish his smile hadn't disappeared.

I purchased the CD. So nice to be able to purchase it on CD, thank you. I will wear out this CD if I keep up with the listening. Every track is gorgeous. I adore Avi, what a smile. And his voice......it’s so hard to put into words how his voice on every song is so good. The music moves me and with each listen I hear something different. His voice is timeless as are the songs. Thank you for all you do with the live broadcasts, it’s very special. As are you and your music.

The resonance of this man's voice, and the impact of his lyrics are enough to bring you to tears. Finally, music that is REAL. Music that MEANS something. Music that truly CONNECTS with you. I felt alone among the vast majority of people who are okay with how shallow and repetitive music is today until I listened to Avi Kaplan. He is a true musical artist, and I'm so very happy he came out with this album. The sound quality of the CD itself is top notch as well.

For years I have been very touched by Avi’s musical gift but only as a member in the Pentatonix. Though I was very drawn to his voice, I longed to hear him do his own thing. I am completely and thoroughly pleased to say that this EP is such a wonderful showcase of the many sides of this very talented artist. Thank you, Avi, for sharing your spirit with the world. I look forward to many more milestones for you and seeing you grow into everything that you dream of. Im definitely going along for the ride. Many Blessings!!!!

Well I'll start with the positives. This EP is absolutely phenomenal. I had extremely high expectations and Avi, brother, you did not disappoint. I am completely in love with everything about this EP and Avi and how serene and at peace he seems writing and performing his own music. However, I was extremely disappointed to find out that even though I preordered, the EP and shirt bundle I ordered were on backorder. I never received an email informing me of this or apologizing for the inconvenience and was never given an estimate of when I may receive it. So while the products are outstanding, the customer service is severely lacking and I'm definitely disappointed by this experience.

I was so excited to receive my cd in the mail! Avi Kaplan's music is exactly what I've been looking for for a long time. It's down to earth, heartfelt, speaks to personal, yet universal, experiences. Kaplan's music is engaging and I'm not embarrassed to admit I've been listening to it on repeat! And the music world can always use more baritone/basses. I've rarely found contemporary music that spans the generation gap, but my parents are just as thrilled with his music as I am. I look forward to whatever music Kaplan releases in the future!

I was very happy to find this cd. I've been looking for some of Avi's non- Pentatonix music on cd for a while. Once found, I purchased it immediately. The cd is outstanding. A great album of music, by one of today's most talented vocalists. I hope that Avi's next cd includes the song - Otherside.

"I'll Get By" CD was absolutely wonderful! Avi has a strong & soulful voice that so artfully tells a story with his lyrics. I believe it was a personal journey for him with the good & the bad, but It reminds people that they are not the only ones going thru life with emotional ups & downs(Thank You!). "It Knows Me" is my favorite , but all songs are awesome. Avi is a very talented singer/songwriter, I will be looking forward to more of his works in the future.

It is so wonderful to hear Avi’s incredible voice singing again! And to his own style of music. My favorite (so far) is Change on the Rise. The song and his voice are equally powerful. You can bet I will be looking for his next CD to come out.

I love this CD, the flow of the music the sound of the intrusmentals and the lyrics make me so happy. I feel moved when I listen to this music and I'm so happy with this purchase. Thank you for this Avi, I could not have asked for better.

Avi Kaplan can sing and write music. Understatement. His vocal range is amazing and can carry you with so much emotion that you feel you have traveled along the path with him. The harmonies are so beautiful that they can bring you to tears. He has an understanding of instruments and what works with his voice. This is what "I'll get by" EP is all about. There is a call for standing up and making a change. Recognizing that you didn't handle someone's heart with care. A place you can go to find peace and healing. In the darkest of times you can find your way out of the chains that hold you. Gospel lead that you find yourself. A song that could be sung to your love as much as about the moon. And the title song, I'll Get By. The burden may be great, but you will get by. This is Avi Kaplan

Avi's amazing vocals combined with beautiful music and an all-around great feel/tone make this my new favorite album!

Each song got better & better(if that was possible) I loved that Avi got to express his feelings & vocals so I could hear every range & power of his voice! The only problem was there were ONLY 7 songs and I am soooo addicted to his voice & every genre that he sings, that I am PRAYING that he writes & releases more of them SOON! I loved to see him smile!

Avi's best work yet! I am not sure which is more profound this time; the harmonious account of his soul or his glorious voice. Truly inspiring. Born in CA is everything I feel for my beloved state and is now my anthem. Thank you, Avi! Namaste
